Generally on long sea crossing (overnight/all day) a berth within a cabin is included within the price. If the ferry crossing is only short sea (2-3 hours) a berth in cabin is NOT usually included, but rest areas are always available.
For full details please see "What's Included" when making a booking.
The type of cabin available will depend upon the crossing, what facilities the ferry has and how busy the ferry is. Whilst some freight ferries have single berth cabins for drivers, most do not, and the driver may have to share with up to 3 other drivers.
Unfortunately, we are unable to make any arrangements in advance for drivers to have a cabin to themselves. If the driver would like this we recommend he speaks to staff on board and tries to make his own arrangements. If there are any costs applicable for this the driver will be asked to pay this. You are not generally able to upgrade or pre-book cabins in advance on freight tickets.
Meals are nearly always included on a freight ticket. If a meal is not provided, the cost of the meal may be heavily discounted. Again, please view the "Whats included" when making a booking.
