Due to the ongoing effects of Storm Arwen and the cancellation of services from Port of Cairnryan, Police Scotland are activating Operation Stack from 14:00hrs on the Friday 26th November 2021.

All freight vehicles intending to travel to Northern Ireland MUST process through the Operation Stack Area located at Castle Kennedy Airfield, (www.castlekennedyairfield.co.uk), where they will be released on a strict first come, first serve, basis.

Please do not attempt to gain access to the Port unless only collecting import trailers already arrived from Northern Ireland.

Driver welfare facilities will be made available on site and shuttlebus transfers to and from the town of Stranraer will be available during day light hours.
